Justin Alvear is CCA Metro’s marketing and media coordinator, where he is responsible for supporting the interests of union carpenters and contractors through social and digital media. He was born in Manhattan, spent the early years of his childhood with his family in Cartagena, Colombia, and now resides in the Bronx. Justin speaks English and Spanish and received his Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University at Buffalo (SUNY) in media study with a video production concentration. Prior to joining CCA Metro, he produced online courses and digital content for the SUNY system and he also directed social media and digital content for a local business. Justin has experience creating video content, photography, digital marketing, broadcasting, graphic design, and copy writing. He hopes to use his skills to promote the advantages of utilizing union carpenters and contractors and engage key stakeholders in the world of New York’s construction industry.
