New Surgical Care Facility Completed at Schwarzman Animal Medical Center

Construction has been completed at Schwarzman Animal Medical Center’s new surgical care facility at 510 East 62nd Street in Lenox Hill, Manhattan. Union contractors and carpenters with the New York City District Council of Carpenters completed the 7,000-square-foot expansion for the only level-one trauma center for animals in NYC. The union-made facility includes five new operating rooms and a minor procedure room, which will help even more pets and animals get the care they need. This surgical care facility showcases the knowledge and safety protocols that union contractors and carpenters bring to every project.
