Mount Sinai’s New AI Research Facility Takes Shape in East Harlem

Renovations are progressing at Mt. Sinai’s Hamilton and Amabel James Center for Artificial Intelligence and Human Health, located at 3 East 101st St. in East Harlem. Union contractors and carpenters with the New York City District Council of Carpenters are building this 12-story, 65,000-sq-ft research facility designed for advancing diagnostic tools and medicine. The center will be transformed into an open and collaborative environment that will support important research. The creation of this new AI medical research building is a testament to the expertise and dedication of union carpenters and contractors.
