BLOG Harlem to become new nexus for artists of African descent The highly anticipated Studio Museum in Harlem will be the nexus for artists of African descent and for work inspired and influenced by black culture locally, nationally, and internationally. The new 82,000-square-foot building on West 125th Street will enable the museum to accommodate the expansion of its internationally renowned exhibitions and will offer increased educational opportunities and public programs for its growing and diverse audience.
