Crafting the Future: Union Carpentry in NYC’s Architectural Revitalization

Over a dozen skilled union contractors and carpenters from the New York City District Council of Carpenters are bringing their expertise to the revitalization of the 92-year-old former World Telegram Building located at 125 Barclay Street. Located in Tribeca, this 11-story commercial structure will offer 264,700 square feet of office space. An additional floor will also be constructed above its parapet. This renovation project will provide three new rooftop terraces, two additional entrances, and a modern liner wall with an upgraded drainage system. Many properties across New York City require renovation and modernization to accommodate the rising need for contemporary living and workspaces. Union carpenters and contractors, renowned for their top-tier training and commitment to delivering high-quality results safely, on time, and within budget, are well-equipped to meet these growing needs.
