Union carpenters are proud to have worked on the Fisher Houses project in the Bronx. Since 2019, these homes have provided free lodging for military families of patients at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center. Guests can form a community at Fisher Houses, helping each other through difficult times. 425 Park Ave.

425 Park Avenue will provide 667,000 square feet of office space with a new restaurant on the ground floor. This billion-dollar project, an 897-foot-tall, 47-story commercial skyscraper in Midtown East, will be the first full-block tower on Park Avenue in over 50 years. This impressive new addition to the area showcases the industry-leading training, safety, and quality that union contractors and the New York City District Council of Carpenters bring to every project. The TWA Hotel at John F. Kennedy International Airport

The historic TWA terminal at JFK Airport is once again open for business after a complete redesign and renovation as a hotel. The new design is inspired by the 1960s space-age futurism, paying homage to the building’s golden era. This development features union-made luxury interiors and a stunning natural-light lounge with floor to ceiling windows. Contractors on this project include Wood Pro 2 Installers, Inc., Oxford Electronics, Inc., Sorbara Construction Corp., and Consolidated Carpet working with the New York City District Council of Carpenters.

Kosciuszko Bridge

Led by the Skanska-Kiewit-Ecco III joint venture on Phase 1 and Granite Construction Northeast on Phase 2, this $873 million project to replace the aging Kosciuszko Bridge that connects Brooklyn and Queens was completed on-budget and four years ahead of schedule with union carpenters and contractors. Other contractors on this job include Perfetto Contracting, Structural Services Inc., Case Foundation, and Hayward Baker.
